A+E Networks Japan and the History Channel Japan aired Episode 1 of Season 2 of “Defending Japan” in　November 26, 2023. Former U.S. Forces Japan commander, Lt. Gen. (Retired) Jerry P. Martinez is the host for Season 2. Defending Japan is a co-production of A.B.E. and A+E Networks Japan.
