AURORA BOREALIS ENTERTAINMENT is taking on its biggest entertainment venture to date with the launch of its “Aurora Plus” streaming channel on the Roku platform. The channel’s program lineup will include a mix of current popular series such as the celebrity news program, “Backstage Pass;” award-winning military documentary series, “Defending Japan;” the reality series, “J Club Divas;” and “Profile” series. The lineup will also include several other reality series, original movies and documentaries and season specials.
This includes the entire catalog of the “Access E” celebrity and fashion news program. The series, produced by ACTV, under producer Dan Smith, aired on a number of Japanese TV networks and was also streamed on the Access E website from 2002 through 2007.
AURORA PLUS will also feature selected segments of the Japanese-base cult TV series, “Black Life in Japan” and its subsequent spin off series, “My Life In Japan”. “Black Life in Japan” gained notoriety for host Dan Smith during an appearance he made on NBC’s “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” touring the program’s merits for viewers worldwide.
The popular reality series, “J Club Divas” Season 1 and several “Encore” episodes will also find a home on Aurora Plus. The series follows the exploits of several Japanese “party woman” who prove to be a lot more than what they appear to be.
